Tirell S. Watts passed away on Wednesday June 10, 2020 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Norfolk, Virginia.
Tirrell was born July 31, 1979 in Portsmouth, VA to Vina Watts and Lynwood Cherry (D). He attended Churchland High School. He enjoyed working and joking with his family and friends. Tirrell loved family gatherings where he was the main entertainer. Everyone always knew that he would make them laugh and feel welcomed.
Tirrell was loved and cherished by many. He left a mark wherever he was, everyone always remembered “Big Boy”. He had a warm and inviting personality that could make anyone laugh even on their worst day. He was the best brother, son, and friend that anyone could ask for. He was a passionate 49ers fan, even getting emotional sometimes when they lost big games, like he was really a part of the team.
Tirrell was the person that you could always talk to, he would always encourage and never judge. He always kept a positive attitude and found the bright side of any situation or hurdle in life. He loved children and always showed them the same love and support a parent or uncle would. All of his friends and people he interacted with regularly were given nicknames. He would find something about you that he joked about or something that you didn’t like about yourself to make you comfortable with it and love yourself for who you are. This was also his way to show that his relationship with you was different and personal, another way to show you how much he cared. He was also naturally charitable, always willing to give his last to anyone in need. Tirrell was an extremely thoughtful person, he remembered everyone, and everyone remembered him. His love, laughter, and kindness was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Tirrell leaves behind his mother, Vina Watts, , 4 siblings, Taisha Roberts, Dante Watts, Marcus Watts and Ebony Watts, 4 nephews, Dante Watts Jr., Mahki Williams, Malik Williams and Joshua Roberts, 1 niece Chyna Buksha, a God son, Taquin Simmons and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he loved dearly.
