Eunice Evelyn Terry died Friday August 21, 2020 known to her family and friends as Nana went home to be the Lord at Riverpointe Healthcare in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Born in Bassett VA, Nana relocted from the western part of VA many years ago. She was employed with Stewart Sandwhiches for over 15 years, until the closed the company down. While employed there, she was a loyal and hard worker Anyone that knew her, knew her as Nana. She did not like to be called Ms. or Ma’am. She demanded that everyone called her Nana. Her Dr. would instruct all incoming nurses “Dont call her Ms. Terry, call her Nana or she will yell at you.
She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her warm smile could light up a room and she was always laughing and smiling. She never met a stranger, and had an everlasting impact on anybody that she ever met. No one ever had anything bad to say about her. She was nice but she was feisty as well and didn’t stuff from nobody.
Most importantly, Nana was a loving Mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was always ready to help anyone in need.
She loved country and western music. Tanya Tucker’s Delta Dawn was her favorite song and she was in love with Elvis Presley. She loved to dance, she used to say “I was the first one on the dance floor and the last one to leave”. She loved babies and would pick them up, did not matter if she knew them or not. She was vain and loved to be told how beautiful she was and how young she looked. She also loved snickers candy bars and pepsi. Eldren and Danny were her go to guys for those treats. No matter what they were doing and where they were, they always made time to get her favorite treats.
Predeceased by her Parents Fred and Lula Gravely, Three brothers, Bernard Gravely, Eugene Gravely, and Fred Gravely.
