Quincy Lee Moore

April 17, 1947 — October 25, 2019

Quincy Lee Moore; also known as Moe, was born on April 17, 1947 in Lenoir County North Carolina to Jenette Wilson Moore and the late Clyde Fairbanks Moore Sr. Quincy departed this life on October 25, 2019 at Depaul Hospital in Norfolk Va.

Quincy was raised in Lenoir County North Carolina. He graduated from Savannah High School. While at Savannah he came a member of the local singing group the Bosatettes and sang lead on the only record the band recorded. Quincy was a Master Brick Mason a skilled he learned from his late Uncle Roy Wilson. On May 8, 1970 he married his teenage Sweetheart Ollie affectionately known as Molly. They have one daughter Valerie Reese. He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Fairbanks Moore Sr. and brother Clyde Junior Moore.

Quincy leaves to mourn his death and celebrate his life: His wife of 49 years Ollie “Molly” Moore of the home; Daughter, Valerie Denise Reese, Son in Law, Leon Reese Jr. Grandson , Breon Quincy Reese all of Norfolk Virginia. Granddaughter, Jazmine Staton, Great Grandchildren , Donnell Staton-Myers and Dimitri Staton-Myers all of Chesapeake Virginia; His Mother, Jenette Wilson Moore of Kinston North Carolina; Sisters, Geraldine Fisher (Earl Fisher), Dianne Fisher (Clarence Fisher), Janice Fisher (Donald Fisher), Estella Pitt (Moses Pitt), Vivian Enzminger all of Kinston North Carolina, Kathy Jones of Snow Hill North Carolina; Brother, James Moore of Snow Hill North Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, inlaws and friends.

Memories last a lifetime only if you share them.
