To was a wonderful man. I am sorry that I cant make the funeral, but he is in my heart. One of my fondest memories of my To Miguel is when he gave me first job selling piraguas with him. I will forever cherish helping him make the tamarindo syrup in abuelas house and scraping the ice on the busy city streets. Te amo To! Until we meet again.

My loving dad taught me so much.
When I was little I would always want to be with him and go everywhere with him. I remember walking by his side and falling behind, because my little legs could not catch up. I knew that if I wanted to be with him out and about I had to either walk fast on my own or skip to keep up. If all failed I grabbed onto his hand and it made my legs run to keep up. He showed me how to put an extra step in my walk. I learned to walk fast and keep up with him to the point where I didnt need to hold on to stay with the pace.
I do owe him one lesson he tried to teach me, that was swimming. As much as I love
The ocean I must take responsibility to hopefully one day swim with confidence and enjoy the ocean with my father in mind.
I have missed him for a long time and I will miss him more now.
I love you Papi, Bendicin! Te amo.

To was a very good uncle to me. He taught me a lot when I was growing up about everyday life things. When I was younger, my summers in Brooklyn NY were always fun when I would see to either selling Piraguas (shaved ice) or I would help him sell them on Pitkin Ave. He was funny, sharing his stories from his childhood all the time. To was always willing to help others. To was happy and would make us laugh with his jokes and personality. He will be sadly missed by all of us. May God bless his soul and he R.I.P.
