Andrea, or “Dre,” as she was affectionately known, attended the elementary school of and grew up in the Douglass Park Community of Portsmouth, VA. During her career, Andrea met her life partner and husband, Willie James Pigott. They met in 1990, married in 1994, and celebrated life together until Willie passed away in 2009.
