Mary Louise Tann - Lee

Mary Lee was 49 when God allowed her to gain her crown on November 26, 2023. God created Mary Lee on February 22, 1974.

She was the daughter of the late Mary Lou Tann Brooks and Rufus Jones Sr. She attended Currituck County public schools. She worked in nursing for 5 years then transitioned over to cosmetology at Hicks academy. For the remainder of her 15 years she currently worked at D.L.A Logistics. She was a member of first Baptist bolling brook where she attented. She also joined willie lee chapter #150 oes pha, district 1 located in jarvisburg, nc in august of 2021. Mary Lee joined the union in 2011. She eventually became the first black woman. to become president of her union lodge. She also was a Mary Kay representative.

Mary Lee was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, and daughter.  She always went over and beyond to help others in need. She was an outstanding cook.  Her smile, laugh, and devotion will be greatly missed.

Mary tann lee leaves to cherish her memories with (husband) Sherman Lee, (dad) Rufus Jones, (two daughters) Jalissa (Wayne) Brim, of Va Beach, Va, jazmin lee of Norfolk, (two sisters) Yolanda tann of NC, Evenlyn Banks of NY, (one brother) Rodney Jones of NY, two god children Ashley Spencer and Dezire Wilson. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sister & brother in laws, cousins and friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother Mary Lou Tann Brooks, nephew Traveon Tann, mother in law Mildred Mae Lee Jones, and father in law David Wallace Jones Sr.
