Martin Gordon Stanford

The Lord has called home a great man. Our lives have been changed forever by a great man Martin G. Stanford. Martin G. Stanford leaves behind a beautiful wife of 45 years Annie E. Stanford. He also leaves behind four children Leon Reese, Melanie Stanford, Thayer Reese and Sonya Stanford.

He has 11 grandchildren Jonathan Reese, Trenton Reese, Martin C. Stanford, Marquise Stanford, Michelle Stanford, Jasmine Staton, Omar Patterson, Breon Reese, Markell Taylor, Nyaja Stanford and Jessica Stanford.

He also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren. He was a member of Impact Church in Norfolk, Virginia. He served in the United States Navy for 20 years retiring as a Chief Gunners Mate. He also organized a food ministry for our church providing food to families in need for over 11 years. Martin G. Stanford is a great man and will be missed by family and friends.
