Josephus Spence

Josephus Spence departed this life on June 20, 2022. In death, he was preceded by his father, Josephus Spence, and mother Sarah Elizabeth Sawyer Spence. Also, three siblings, sisters Ottela and Elizabeth, and brother John. Left to cherish his loving memory Is, sister Ella Louise Malloy (William), brother Larry Spence (Vanessa), two Godsons Kevin Matthews, Kyell Riddick, and cousins Rosetta Matthews, Linda Spence Faulkins, Scylene Spence Shelton, Valjean Belcher, Francene Spence McInnis, and Emma Spence Mason, as well a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Josephus was born June 11, 1947. He was an experienced driver. For many years he drove cabs for Bayside Taxi, buses for Trailways Bus and Charter Bus services, and loved people. He had a charismatic energy that attracted a lot of people. He was very giving, and fun loving. As a member of his community, he was very Involved socially. He will be truly missed by many.
