Annabel F Holland

Annabel F. Holland, 78, of Virginia Beach, VA and formerly of Newark, departed this life on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Sidney K. Fisher, Sr. and Maggie Fisher.

Mrs. Holland was a member of New St. John A.M.E. Church in Virginia Beach. She was a kitchen manager at Kelly's Tavern in Virginia Beach.

She will be lovingly remembered by: her husband, Edward W. Holland; one daughter, Virginia Cheeks; two sons, Rickie Lee Fisher, Sr. (Renee) and Sherman E. Fisher; one brother, George Fisher (Irene); an uncle, John Foreman, Sr.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other in-laws, relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Calvin L. Holland.

Mrs. Holland will lie in repose on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM at Williams A.M.E. Church, 7846 Williams Church Road, Newark. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
