To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
heaven… Ecclesiastes 3:1

A time to be born… Ecclesiastes 3:2

Adrian Celeste Fisher was born June 11, 1962, to the late Evelyn Ruth (Smith) Fisher and George Stallworth Fisher in Portsmouth, Virginia. Adrian had 2 sisters Sharrii & Corlette and twin brothers Kevin & Kelvin. Adrian was the baby girl and was older than the twins.

A time to love… Ecclesiastes 3:8

Adrian was blessed with 2 extraordinary sons; Eric in 1979 and 17 years later came Jordan in 1997. Adrian loved her boys and spoiled them rotten. Her strong work ethic was her catalyst in providing for her children. Adrian was certainly proud of her two sons. Eric served in the U.S.Navy and is the President of E. Vaughn Wray Funeral Establishment. Jordan played college football starting for the University of Toledo where he graduated and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree. Adrian was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Evelyn R. Fisher in 2010, her aunt Margaret Smith in 2018 and her brother Ricardo Fisher in 2017.

A time to plant (live)… Ecclesiastes 3:2

Adrian graduated from Manor High School in Portsmouth, VA. in 1979 where she was a proud cheerleader. She also attended Tidewater Community College. Adrian worked for CFS Shipping in Norfolk before she transitioned to Northern Virginia to begin working for the American Red Cross and the Marriott Hotels.

Adrian was highly respected and revered by her peers as a feisty but sweet, funny, and loving person. She is still remembered and loved by her former coworkers.

Adrian lived a good, full life. Most importantly, she was SAVED. Her Christian foundation was established at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Portsmouth, VA. and further developed at Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church in Washington D.C. She had a strong affinity for all music written and composed by Richard Smallwood.

Adrian enjoyed making meals for her family. Her culinary skills developed, and she became well known for her famous spaghetti, oatmeal, rolls, amazing iced tea and a plethora of delectable delights. She used her cooking skills to feed her sons, mother, sisters, uncle and whoever else stopped by to show her love to others.

A time to mourn… Ecclesiastes 3:4

Adrian was lovingly known as Mommy, Mom, Mother, Adrian, Aunt Adrian and Cuz.

Adrian’s legacy includes two sons; Eric V. Wray, II of Virginia Beach, VA. and Jordan C. Fisher of Upper Marlboro, MD., one special uncle (serving as father figure); Carlton A. Smith of Upper Marlboro, MD., her father; George S. Fisher of Orlando, FL., two sisters;Sharrii Fisher of Upper Marlboro, MD. and Corlette Turner (Dwight) of Portsmouth, VA., two brothers; Rev. Kevin B. Fisher of St. Croix US VI and Kelvin B. Fisher of Norfolk,VA., one special aunt; Addie Mae Whitaker of Norfolk, VA.,and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

A time to die… Psalms 116:5

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”

Adrian often spoke of the healing power of God and His unconditional love. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Adrian Celeste Fisher, 59, of Annapolis, Maryland, received her eternal reward and complete healing on Monday, November 29, 2021.
