Clifton Moloy Gallop passed away on Saturday August 31, 2109 in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital, Norfolk.
Clifton was born to the late Margaret & Johnnie Gallop on July 17, 1940. He attended schools in the Camden North Carolina area. Later he moved to Norfolk, Virginia. Where he learned at a young age to lay bricks. He was a brick mason for many years, he worked on varies jobs up until his illness. He really enjoyed building things and helping family.
Clifton is preceded in death by his parents Mr. & Mrs. Johnnie Gallop, his wife Gloria Gallop, two brothers William and George Gallop, four sisters Sara & Margaret Gallop, Elissie Hassell,
and Emma Banks and his lifelong partner Kenatha Hamilton. He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters Monique Hamilton and Crystal Rae Johnson (Carlton) of Norfolk, VA, Elaine (Allen) Woodhouse of Woodbridge, VA Four brothers Johnnie Gallop Jr. of Brooklyn NY, Joseph Gallop of Boston Mass, Matthew Gallop of Carlson, SC and Richard Gallop of Elizabeth City NC, and three sisters Annie Whaff of Norfolk, VA Armecie West of Youngsville, NC and Ruby Hughes of Shiloh NC. One aunt Willie Belle Upson of Jacksonville FL. Nine grandchildren Corey Gallop, Tamara Gallop, Shaquille Johnson, Tierra Johnson, Kenitha Woodhouse, Monae Hamilton, Demique Bailey, Dyamond Hamilton and Raniyah Evans and five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
